I suppose I should introduce myself, as I’ll be the main voice in this blog! My name is Kate Grossman, and last Sunday I was honored to be inducted as the Public Relations Coordinator for the Eta Rho Chapter of Gamma Sigma Sigma. I am definitely filling some very big shoes left by our outgoing PR Coordinator Meredith Laverdure.
I personally own a Tumblr, and I loved how easily it worked for networking with new people and sharing information. Different offices and organizations on our campus have Tumblr accounts, and so I decided to start this blog!
This blog will contain information about past events (during the summertime), as well as information about upcoming events and events in the far future. I’ll also occasionally post personal stories from our chapter, such as problem solving examples and success stories. Later, I’m hoping to highlight a sister each week so that others can get to know our members!
As always, if you have any questions about Gamma Sigma Sigma, our chapter, our events, or even what I do in my position, feel free to inbox me or e-mail me at etarhogssPR@gmail.com.
Senior gifts! #GammaSigmaSigma (Taken with instagram)
As the first post to this blog, I’d like to congratulate this Spring’s graduates from the Eta Rho Chapter! Meredith, Amanda, Apinder, Gina, Tayler, Alishia, Khalia, and Jen, you have all been amazing additions to our chapter. A majority of you have been here since our foundations as a petitioning group, and we’ve seen you grow and flourish through the years! Thank you for all of your service and dedication to Gamma Sigma Sigma and for all of the memories you have given us. Best wishes in all that you do!
Also, thanks to our newly elected Membership Vice President Heather for making these lovely senior gifts. The 2011-2012 President Erin also made our seniors custom plaques and a group shot of the seniors.
How does your chapter celebrate its outgoing seniors?
